Under the dynamic leadership of AIG Wale Abbas Rtd and Chief Dr. Hon. Adekunle Isaac Omoyele, the Osun Amotekun Corps has recorded several notable achievements, reinforcing community safety, combating crime, and enhancing operational capacity across the state with the support of the Executive Governor of Osun State His Excellency Senator Asiwaju Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke.
Over 289 criminals were apprehended for offenses such as armed robbery, rituals, fraudsters, rape, burglary, theft, vehicle snatching, defilement, fake currency, and impersonation between July 2024 and March 2026.

1. Crime Prevention and Law Enforcement
Arrest of Communal Crisis Suspects (July 27, 2024)
Two suspects were arrested for inciting a violent communal clash in Araromi Owu, leading to the death of an NSCDC personnel and destruction of properties worth millions.
Vehicle Spare Parts Theft (August 23, 2024)
Three suspects were apprehended in Ode-Omu for stealing vehicle spare parts. A scrap dealer’s alert led to their swift arrest.
Fake Land Seller Arrested (August 24, 2024)
One Lasisi Ismail was arrested for fraudulently selling land with falsified documents in Ede.
Child Defilement Case (August 26, 2024)
A 35-year-old suspect was arrested in Boripe LGA for defiling a 10-year-old girl. Immediate action followed the mother’s complaint.
Parade of Nine Suspects (September 24, 2024)
Multiple arrests were made across various cases including motorcycle snatching/murder, transformer cable theft, fraud, currency forgery, and burglary.
Arrest of Serial Goat Thief and Fake Bank Manager (October 22, 2024)
Several suspects, including a livestock thief and a fraudulent individual posing as a bank manager, were arrested and paraded.
Arrest of Armed Robber (November 7, 2024)
Hassan Olalekan and accomplices were captured for involvement in armed robbery and burglary operations across Osun towns.
Cocoa Theft Cases (December 2 & 18, 2024)
Individuals and a family were apprehended for stealing cocoa worth millions. Legal action was initiated through proper judicial channels.
Vehicle Theft and Burglary (February 28, 2025)
Two suspects were arrested and later convicted for separate incidents of vehicle theft and house burglary.
Wire Theft and Sentencing (April 7 & 24, 2025)
A notorious electric wire thief and a cable thief were arrested and sentenced to prison after being found guilty of multiple offenses.

(June 13th, 2025) Osun Amotekun Apprehends Emmanuel Ivarim, 23 years old for Stolen Bajaj Motorcycle and Techno Spark 10 phone valued at #1,250,000 in Iperindo-Ijesa and he was sentenced to one year imprisonment.
(June 21, 2025) Magistrate Court Sentences 25-Year-Old to Three Years Imprisonment for Attempted Rape Following Arrest by Osun Amotekun Corps.

Intelligence Seminar (September 20, 2024)
A seminar for intelligence officers was conducted to enhance investigative practices under the guidance of the Corps Commander’s 35 years of policing experience.
Officers’ Training Program (October 24, 2024 & March 2025)
Officers were trained on gender, human rights, and community policing. Over 1,150 recruits underwent training and participated in a passing out parade.
3. Community Engagement and Security Operations
Fulani Community Dialogue (February 14, 2025)
Strategic engagement with Fulani leaders was held to mitigate farmer-herder clashes and agricultural threats.
Election Security Deployment (February 22, 2025)
Amotekun operatives were deployed across Osun State to ensure peaceful conduct during the local government elections.
4. Institutional Development
Website Launch (October 29, 2024)
Osun Amotekun launched its official website to improve public engagement and transparency.
Legal and Structural Support
(November 17, 2024): Governor Adeleke signed the amended Osun Amotekun Bill into law, granting prosecution powers and civil service inclusion to the Corps members.
(January 2, 2025): The Corps moved to its permanent headquarters in Osogbo, facilitated by the state government.
Recruitment Drive (January–February 2025)
A comprehensive recruitment process was conducted via the new website platform to bolster manpower.
