The Government of Osun State, under the leadership of His Excellency, Senator (Dr.) Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, has officially inaugurated the Imole Youth Corps, a landmark initiative designed to tackle unemployment, poverty, criminal tendencies, and youth restiveness across the state.
On Thursday, February 6, 2025, Governor Adeleke formally inducted 10,000 youths into the Imole Youth Corps Scheme. The beneficiaries have since been deployed to their respective areas of primary assignment, including:
Imole Teachers Corps
Imole Medical Corps
Imole Environmental Corps
Provision of Tools and Resources
To ensure effective service delivery, the State Government provided working tools for members of the Imole Environmental Corps. These include wheelbarrows, brooms, cutlasses, rakes, and dustbin baskets, enabling them to carry out their duties efficiently.
Supervision and Coordination
A total of 31 Imole Youth Coordinators were selected from various Local Governments to supervise the activities of the Corps, ensuring accountability and proper monitoring across all regions.
Financial Support
The State Government has committed to providing financial support to sustain the program:
Each Imole Youth Corps Member receives a monthly stipend of ₦30,000.
Local Government Coordinators are entitled to ₦100,000 monthly.

Speaking at the inauguration, Governor Adeleke emphasized that the Imole Youth Corps reflects his administration’s unwavering commitment to empowering young people, fostering community development, and building a safer, more prosperous Osun State.
